EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Clear sources, clear labels, and a record of meaningful corrections.
SOURCE FIRST
Reports point back to the original X post, official update, public activity record or other source material whenever it is available. A source link is evidence, not an endorsement.
EDITORIAL VALUE
GrottoScout does not publish raw duplication as a substitute for reporting. A published report should add useful context, organization, classification, an explanation of why the signal matters or a durable way to find the source later.
LABELS AND UPDATES
Confidence, article kind and source identity are displayed with each report. When a report materially changes, its updated time and revision record remain part of the newsroom trail.
